  • Meet at Toronto Pearson International Airport and board your direct flight to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city. (Round-trip direct international airfare included.)

  • Upon arrival in Casablanca, transfer to Rabat, the capital of Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2012. Highlights include the Royal Palace of Rabat, a blend of Arab and Andalusian architecture, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Morocco’s father of independence, with intricate bronze latticework, the Hassan Tower and its 300+ surrounding columns and a photo opportunity with the Royal Guard on horseback.

     

    After lunch, continue to Tangier, a coastal city uniquely located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, only 20 km from the Spanish coast.

  • After breakfast, drive to Chefchaouen, one of the world’s three renowned blue cities. Its charming blue-painted streets, doors, and buildings offer a romantic, photogenic setting.

    Then visit Tetouan, the “White City,” known for its almost entirely whitewashed architecture and UNESCO status.

  • Explore Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities (UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, 1996), featuring an unfinished Royal Palace inspired by Versailles, a 25 km of city walls, the Mansour Gate decorated with green and white tiles and the Sultan’s Mausoleum.

     

    Continue to Volubilis (UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, 1997), a well-preserved Roman city dating back to the 3rd century BC, with grand ruins and stunning mosaic artwork.

    Continue toward Erfoud, passing Mount Atlas, Morocco’s highest peak.

  • Travel to the stunning Todra Gorge, with 300m vertical cliffs. Continue along the Dades Valley to Ouarzazate, via the famed “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” — historic mud-brick fortresses built by noble families in the 17th–18th centuries.

     

    In the afternoon, we will drive through the Dades Valley to Ousassat in the southwest. This road is the most beautiful and attractive desert landscape road in Morocco, known as the Castle Avenue.
